Refund Policy

Effective date: 20 May 2026

1. Blueprint Diagnostic

The Blueprint Diagnostic fee is $300. This fee covers a structured intake assessment that produces a one-page PDF mapping the company's financial infrastructure position to the relevant Oakworth service layer and identifying specific gaps.

A full refund of the diagnostic fee is available if requested before the diagnostic PDF has been delivered to the email address provided. Refund requests should be sent to contact@theoakworth.com with the submission reference.

Once the diagnostic PDF has been sent, the diagnostic is considered complete and the fee is non-refundable. The assessment has been performed by a professional, and the output has been delivered. The diagnostic result stands independently whether or not the client proceeds to further advisory services.

2. Advisory Engagements

For Foundation, Structure, Raise, Operations, and Strategy engagements, the scope, deliverables, timeline, investment, and payment schedule are defined in a written proposal and agreement signed by both parties before work begins. The refund and cancellation terms specific to that engagement are stated in the agreement.

In the absence of specific terms in the engagement agreement, the following default terms apply:

  • If the client cancels before any work has been delivered, a full refund of any fees paid is issued within thirty days.
  • If the client cancels after partial delivery, the client is responsible for fees proportional to the work completed. Any advance payment for work not yet performed is refunded within thirty days.
  • If the firm is unable to complete the engagement for reasons within its control, a full refund of fees paid for the undelivered portion is issued.

3. Custom Models and Catalog Purchases

For financial models purchased through the Models Catalog, the refund terms are defined at the point of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, custom models built to client specifications are non-refundable once work has commenced, as they are produced specifically for the client's business and cannot be resold.

4. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests should be sent to contact@theoakworth.com with:

  • The name of the service (Blueprint Diagnostic, advisory engagement, or model purchase).
  • The submission reference or engagement identifier.
  • The reason for the refund request.

The firm will acknowledge receipt within one business day and process the refund, if applicable, within ten business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time for the refund to appear on the client's statement depends on the payment provider and the client's financial institution.
